The weather is warming up, and we're beginning to see the first signs of spring, which means summer weather is just around the corner.  Its the perfect time to start thinking about bright colors, light fabrics and easy, casual clothes.

Light, delicate babydoll tanks that can be worn with or without the babydoll layer in rich jewel tones and colorful spring prints. The tanks have T-backs on them and low, scooped front necklines that offer delectable glimpses of cleavage and smooth back muscles without revealing too much.

Spring means shedding winter leggings, heavy pants, and long skirts in favor of cute shorts and skirts made to show off your legs and let the sun caress your skin.  These shorts are black denim, gently worn, and fit like a glove even when your body moves.  A great addition to any warm weather wardrobe!

The Weekender Dress sets are all about offering options. The base dress comes in all layers and has a mix & matchable set of 3 skirt styles (mini, single ruffle, and tiered ruffles) and an optional ruffled top layer that lets you set your own style from sleek and sultry to delicate and breezy.  Comes in 2 lush colors: Lime with silver  and Raspberry with teal.

Welcome to Dark Water Designs!

Dark Water Designs has been my shop in SL since June, 2009.  The shop has grown and expanded over time from a collection of mostly corsets and dresses to include men's clothing, a new furniture line, and dabblings into static poses for photography and pretty much whatever else catches my fancy and tickles my muse in the lovely SL Universe.

I was initially reluctant to begin a store blog simply because of time factors - I am heavily involved with running the SL Freebie Hunters Blog and working on things for the stores and my RL work and interests, but I have finally caved to the inevitable, and am venturing into blogging as a store owner.  I plan to use the blog to showcase new items, hunt items and gifts available at the store, and the occasional showing of older items that I particularly love.  Most of what I make, I make because it is something I would wear, or something that I like - not necessarily whatever is the latest trend in SL Fashion. April saw an influx of new items to the store - sassy little rufflebutt lingerie sets and some simple, light spring dresses to greet the changing season.  We are also getting ready to preview our new furniture line later in the month, and as always, Dark Water is participating in a couple of grid-wide hunts.
